Shaped by the olfactory landscape of a Mediterranean island, this ethereal fragrance distills the resin of benzoin into a watercolour heart that is enhanced by lemon zest and a hint of lavender. ‘L’eau pâle’ is composed through layered impres-sions, the tenacity of costus charging its blend with a lingering singularity.

All the House’s fragrances are available in scented candles.Lacquered glass jars, made in France, topped with lids made from lacquered wood from the Jura and featuring a cotton wick, to provide 43 to 47 hours of scented burning. Nestled in cylindrical boxes made from FSC-certified paper, these candles are made entirely in France.

Top note: Lemon essence, pink pepper
Heart note: Essence of petitgrain, lavender absolute, vanilla
Base note: Vetiver essence, iris concrete, benzoin, ambroxan

Directions for use
The first time you use your candle, let it burn until the entire surface is liquid. This prevents a cavity forming and a deposit being left on the glass.
Trim the wick regularly to prevent the candle from smoking, and recentre it to ensure even burning.
